DESCRIPTION: In an isolated village where white faces have not been seen for at least 14 years, a boy with a toy gun takes on a metaphoric signisficance. Child soldiers were one of the hallmarks of the Sierra Leonean conflict and possibly thousands of boys as young as these were abducted during the conflict and trained to kill.
