DESCRIPTION: The Registrar of the Special Court for Sierra Leone is Robin Vincent, a former court administrator from the North of England. Vincent boasts a wider-ranging set of powers than the Registrars of either of the ad-hoc international criminal tribunals, for Rwanda and the Former Yugoslavia respectively. As a result of efforts to make the Special Court more streamlined, the Defence Office, the Court Management Section, Outreach, Administration and Press and Public Affairs all fall under the supervision of the Registrar.
